Hollister Field Locator 2B6

On the premises of Cherrybend Pheasant Farm, we have a 3,300 ft grass runway- Hollister Field. There is a 2-plane hangar.  We do NOT have fuel on site. Clinton Field, Fayette, and Highland county all have fuel.

We host occasional fly-in's offering good food and the opportunity to shoot Sporting Clays, or hunt pheasant (seasonally). Check the "Calendar of Events" tab to see the Fly-in schedule.

If you would like to hunt or shoot clays, please give us a call! We would love to have you fly in! If the weather changes after you are here, there is lodging available on-site for over-night visitors.

We welcome visitor's!  Just walk on up to the office in the Main House and say hello!

This is a GRASS field! We prefer to land Runway 23 if conditions permit. It's a little smoother at this end. (Note* Be advised that there are power lines along road at this end (20' high)-orange balls marking.) We take care of the strip and its pretty smooth. A comment was made by JC of  Kentucky(flies a Maule) that we had the nicest strip this side of the Mississippi...I don't know about THAT. But, it's pretty friendly.

Fly-In September 15th, 2012! Come visit the Farm and take a tour. Breakfast will start at 8:30am and if the weather is good and holds out we will grill for lunch. Shoot Clays--we have a shotgun you can use and ammo you can buy. An October Fall Fest Fly-In is TBA.

This is the approach view for Runway 23. Buildings will be on your right, corn on the left. Notice the strips of crops on our farm. Bright green strips are sorghum, darker green is beans and corn. Those strips help identify the place from the air.

Snowy Touchdown!
