On the premises of Cherrybend Pheasant Farm, we have a 3,300 ft grass runway- Hollister Field. There is a 2-plane hangar. We do NOT have fuel on site. Clinton Field, Fayette, and Highland county all have fuel.
If you would like to hunt or shoot clays, please give us a call! We would love to have you fly in! If the weather changes after you are here, there is lodging available on-site for over-night visitors.
We welcome visitor's! Just walk on up to the office in the Main House and say hello!
This is a GRASS field! We prefer to land Runway 23 if conditions permit. It's a little smoother at this end. We take care of the strip and its pretty smooth. A comment was made by JC of Kentucky(flies a Maule) that we had the nicest strip this side of the Mississippi...I don't know about THAT. But, it's pretty friendly.
UPDATE 8/12/2013 There are NO POWERLINES along the road anymore! We had them buried. So don't freak if you cant see the orange balls on the lines...they aren't there anymore! So, if you land Runway 23, please be aware of traffic on the road and keep clearance.

We will have dinner for those interested then start the movie or music at dusk. The movie will be projected outside on the hangar doors. Bring blankets or chairs to sit on in the grass.
Breakfast will be offered Sunday morning.
Camping Info- Folks are welcome to camp with their planes or near the hangar. This is PRIMITIVE camping. We do have a port-a-let for the bathroom at the hangar. There is also a real bathroom open up at the Main house (a short walk). The hangar does have water and electric if needed. Ice is available for purchase.
PARKING INFO-- We plan on parking planes along the pheasant pens by the hangar and across and along the runway in the bean stubble.
