Many people ask what our farm is like. This is a working grain farm with strips of corn, wheat, soybeans, and sorghum. We actively manage the cover on the farm with the intent to provide food and cover for the birds.

Fall/Winter
Entry Level Labor
Historically, we have offered weekend and after school positions to high school and college students. These positions include: feeding and watering livestock (pheasant/Quail), catching from the barn and releasing gamebirds on the farm, cleaning and packaging harvested birds, assisting customers, and cleaning the facility. General hours are 8:00am-5pm Saturday/Sunday. Minimum wage. A great “first” best/worst job they will ever have. 🙂

We are looking for folks that like the Farm and Hunting preserve environment and want to be part of our Cherrybend Family. When Ohio weather gets miserable in the Fall/Winter, this is the place to be! We are busiest on weekends with some weekday events scattered in. The weekdays are generally slower with Members hunting with their dogs and a few guided hunts.
While the work isn’t hard, it is constant and takes alot of helping hands. With enough helping hands its alot of fun!
