Welcome to Cherrybend Pheasant Farm!  Cherrybend has been the premier pheasant hunting preserve in southwest Ohio for over 50 years. The farm is owned and operated by Matt & Beth Ellis and Scott & Melissa Ellis.  The family is dedicated to keeping the 370 acre working farm an Ohio pheasant hunting destination.  This working farm has corn, soybean, wheat stubble, and plots of sunflower, millet, and sorghum.

  We really enjoy having folks come out and hunt our farm.  We have met people from all over the world and made some good friends as well.  So, come on out to our slice of America and see what farm and country life are about.

 Cherrybend's Hunting Season is

September 1st through March 31st.

 The crops have been harvested. We have alternating strips of corn, soybean stubble, and wheat stubble w/short sorghum planted in it. Our fence rows have been supplimented with sorghum as well. The weather appears to have finally turned with our first frost this morning. Hunting conditions are improving with the cooler weather!  Now is the time to schedule your hunts for the holidays. It's a great way to spend time with friends and family.

We had a fantastic 2007-2008 hunting season no thanks to the blizzard or high winds! Thanks to those that braved the elements and chose Cherrybend as their hunting destination. We enjoyed witnessing some of the best hunting in Cherrybend history this year! The field conditions were perfect and the hunt stories memorable.

Thank you to all hunters that chose to make more memories at Cherrybend. We had a great time with you folks and hope to see each of you back again next season!
